Estimates & options

Three options, your price book, signed at the kitchen table

Give the customer a choice instead of a number. Build it in under a minute from the book you already priced.

The problem this solves

When building options takes fifteen minutes, nobody builds them. The tech quotes the cheapest fix, the customer buys the cheapest fix, and the replacement sale walks out the door.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drafted from your book

Good, better and best are assembled from your own price book items. We do not ship a rate book and we do not invent prices.

  2. 2

    A person reviews it

Nothing reaches a homeowner unreviewed. The draft has to be acknowledged by a human before it can be presented, and who did it is recorded.

  3. 3

    Signed on the phone

The customer picks an option, types their name and signs on the screen. It is time-stamped.

  4. 4

    Straight into the invoice

The approved option becomes the invoice. Nobody retypes it, so the invoice cannot disagree with what was signed.

  5. 5

Nothing lost if the app closes

Drafts are stored, so a phone call, a dead battery or a lost connection mid-estimate does not cost you the work.

Working in the demo build

Exercised end to end against made-up data.

  • Three-tier options generated from your own price book
  • Required human review step with an audit record
  • Customer signature and typed name capture on the technician's phone
  • Approved option converts to a draft invoice automatically
  • Durable drafts that survive a reload or a lost connection

Not built yet, in development

Said plainly here so it is not a surprise later.

  • Financing offers and payment plans are not built yet, in development
  • Emailing a quote to a customer is queued but delivery is unverified
  • There is no template library; the price book is yours to build

SkillBison is a development build running on synthetic data in test mode. It has not been penetration tested, PCI reviewed or CPA reviewed, and it is not represented as production ready.

Questions

Does the software decide my prices?

No. Options are assembled from your price book. If an item is not in your book, it is not in the estimate.

Is a person in the loop?

Yes, by design. A draft has to be reviewed and acknowledged by a human before a customer can see it, and that step is recorded.
