Plumbing business software
Plumbing software built around the emergency call
Most plumbing work does not get scheduled a week out. It gets scheduled in the next ninety minutes. SkillBison is built for a day that keeps changing, and books that stay right anyway.
Sound familiar
What plumbing owners tell us is actually costing them
Not features. Situations. If these are not your problems, we are not your software.
The day rearranges itself
A water heater lets go at 10 a.m. and three scheduled calls have to move. Moving them should take seconds, and everyone affected should know.
Pricing in a crawl space
Your tech is on his knees with a flashlight. Whatever he uses to price the work has to be readable one-handed, and it has to be the same book you priced from last week.
Options, not one number
Fix the leak, replace the section, or repipe the run. Three honest options let the homeowner decide, and they close larger tickets than a single price on a scrap of paper.
Getting paid before you drive off
A plumbing invoice that gets mailed gets paid in eleven days if you are lucky. Collected on site, it is paid in eleven minutes.
A day in the shop
How the work moves through SkillBison
Every step below is exercised end to end in our demo build against made-up customers.
- 1
The call comes in
Take the address, the reason for the call and the customer, new or existing, in one short form, and it is a real job on the board immediately.
- 2
Reshuffling
Drag the day around. The board checks who is actually rostered, who has the required skill and who is already booked, so you cannot double-book a person by accident.
- 3
On site
Notes, photos and the signature are captured on the phone. In a basement with no bars, that work queues on the device and syncs the second signal comes back.
- 4
Pricing the work
Three options come out of your price book. A person checks them before the customer sees them. Nothing is sent to a homeowner unreviewed.
- 5
Paid and posted
The signed option becomes the invoice, the payment lands against it, and the general ledger entries are written at the same moment.
What is plumbing-specific, and what is shared
Scheduling churn, offline capture and on-site options pricing are the plumbing-specific pressures we designed for. Permit tracking and backflow or water-heater compliance records are on the list, not in the product.

Plumbing questions we get asked
Can I move jobs around during the day?
Yes. The dispatch board lets you reassign and reschedule, and it checks the roster, the required skill and existing bookings before it lets a change through. A dispatcher can override with a confirmation step.
Does the field app work in a basement with no signal?
Yes. Notes and captures are saved on the device and sync when the phone reconnects. This has been exercised in our sandbox against synthetic data; it has not yet been proven across a fleet of real phones.
Does it track permits or backflow certifications?
No. Those are not built yet, in development. Equipment records, job history and customer records are.
See it run a plumbing job end to end
Half an hour, screen share, made-up data. You tell us where it does not match your shop.
