HVAC business software

HVAC business software that gets the money right

Built for the shop with five to twenty-five trucks: dispatch the day, quote a replacement at the kitchen table, collect before you leave, and see the books balance the same minute.

Schedule a demo30 minutes. One job, start to finish, on made-up data.

Sound familiar

What HVAC owners tell us is actually costing them

Not features. Situations. If these are not your problems, we are not your software.

The 2 a.m. no-heat call

The phone rings when nobody is at a desk. You need the call written down, put on somebody's day, and the customer told who is coming, without a notepad on the dash.

Repair or replace

A twenty-year-old furnace with a cracked heat exchanger is a replacement conversation, not a parts conversation. If building three options takes fifteen minutes, your tech quotes the repair and you lose the job.

Flat rate, not guesswork

Your price book is the business. Every tech should price the same task the same way, whether they have been with you eleven years or eleven days.

Knowing what a job actually made

Revenue is easy. Knowing the margin after the tech's hours, the equipment cost and the trip is the part most shops never see until the accountant closes the year.

A day in the shop

How the work moves through SkillBison

Every step below is exercised end to end in our demo build against made-up customers.

  1. 1

    Morning: the board

Today's calls sit on one screen. Anything nobody is assigned to is pushed to the top so it cannot hide. Assign by who has the skill and who is closest, or override it and send the person you want.

  2. 2

    On the truck

The tech clocks in first, then sees today's jobs in big type, one thumb. Tapping 'On my way' tells the office. Call, text and map buttons are right under the reason for the call.

  3. 3

    At the equipment

Point the phone at the data plate. The make, model and serial are read off the picture and saved to that address, so next winter you already know what is in that basement.

  4. 4

    The kitchen table

Good, better and best are assembled from your own price book. A person reviews them before the customer sees them. The customer signs on the phone.

  5. 5

    Before the truck leaves

The approved option becomes the invoice. Payment is recorded against it and the balance drops to zero while you are still in the driveway.

  6. 6

    Back at the office

That job is already on the books: revenue, receivable, cash. No re-keying, no month-end surprise.

What is hvac-specific, and what is shared

Equipment records, flat-rate price books, three-option replacement quoting and job-level margin are the pieces HVAC owners ask about most, and they are the pieces we built first.

Working today

  • Scheduling and dispatch with skill and roster checks
  • Field app with offline capture and signatures
  • Three-option pricing from your own price book
  • Invoicing, payment recording and a double-entry ledger

Not built yet, in development

  • AI phone answering and after-hours booking
  • GPS technician tracking
  • Inventory, purchase orders and warehouses
  • Service agreements and recurring maintenance plans
  • Verified text and email delivery to real phones and inboxes

SkillBison is a development build. Everything shown in a demo is made-up data in test mode. We are not selling it, not onboarding live shops, and not claiming it is production ready.

HVAC questions we get asked

Does SkillBison handle flat-rate pricing?

Yes. Estimates are assembled from your own price book, so the same task is priced the same way by every technician. You control the book; we do not ship a rate book of our own.

Can a technician build a replacement quote in the field?

Yes. Three options are drafted from your price book on the phone, a person reviews them before the customer sees them, and the customer signs on the screen. The approved option becomes the invoice.

Does it track equipment at a customer's address?

Yes. A technician photographs the data plate and the make, model and serial are read from the picture and saved to that address for the next visit.

Does it do maintenance agreements?

Not yet. Recurring service agreements are in development. We would rather tell you that now than in a demo.

See it run a hvac job end to end

Half an hour, screen share, made-up data. You tell us where it does not match your shop.
