Electrical business software

Electrical contractor software from the first call to the ledger

Service calls and small projects in one system: who is going, what it costs, what the customer approved, what it invoiced, and what it made.

Schedule a demo30 minutes. One job, start to finish, on made-up data.

Sound familiar

What electrical owners tell us is actually costing them

Not features. Situations. If these are not your problems, we are not your software.

Service calls and projects, same week

A panel swap on Tuesday and six troubleshooting calls around it. One board has to hold both without the project swallowing the service day.

Who is allowed to do this job

Not every hand on the truck should be sent to every call. Assignment should account for who has the skill before it accounts for who is free.

Scope creep on a signature

'While you are here' turns a $300 call into a $1,900 one. A signed on-site approval is the difference between extra work and an argument at invoicing.

Job cost that is actually job cost

Labor hours, material and the invoice on the same job record, posting to the same ledger, so margin is a number you can read, not one you reconstruct.

A day in the shop

How the work moves through SkillBison

Every step below is exercised end to end in our demo build against made-up customers.

  1. 1

    Booked

The call, the address and the reason are captured once, and that record follows the job all the way to the ledger entry.

  2. 2

    Assigned by skill

Required skills are checked against the roster before someone is assigned. Overrides exist, but they are a deliberate choice with a confirmation, not a silent one.

  3. 3

    Approved on site

Options are drafted from your price book, reviewed by a person, signed by the customer on the phone, and time-stamped.

  4. 4

    Invoiced and paid

The approved option becomes the invoice. A payment is only marked paid once it is confirmed, never optimistically.

  5. 5

    On the books

Revenue, receivables and cash post automatically. Vendor bills and a payroll run post to the same set of books.

What is electrical-specific, and what is shared

Dispatch, skills-aware assignment, on-site approvals, invoicing and the ledger are shared across all three trades and are the same tested code. Permit and inspection tracking, panel schedules and code-compliance records are not built yet, in development, and we say so on this page rather than in the demo.

Working today

  • Scheduling and dispatch with skill and roster checks
  • Field app with offline capture and signatures
  • Three-option pricing from your own price book
  • Invoicing, payment recording and a double-entry ledger

Not built yet, in development

  • AI phone answering and after-hours booking
  • GPS technician tracking
  • Inventory, purchase orders and warehouses
  • Service agreements and recurring maintenance plans
  • Verified text and email delivery to real phones and inboxes
  • Live card processing (payments run in test mode only)

SkillBison is a development build. Everything shown in a demo is made-up data in test mode. We are not selling it, not onboarding live shops, and not claiming it is production ready.

Electrical questions we get asked

Can I stop unqualified techs being assigned to a job?

Yes. Jobs can require a skill, and assignment checks the technician's roster and skills before allowing it. A dispatcher can still override with a confirmation step.

Does SkillBison track permits and inspections?

No. That is not built yet, in development. We will not describe it as available.

Is this for service work or project work?

Service work and small projects. It is not a construction estimating or project-management system, and it does not do progress billing.

See it run a electrical job end to end

Half an hour, screen share, made-up data. You tell us where it does not match your shop.
